A report published in June of 2021 in the Archives of Internal Medicine reported that there is a strong trend of increasing risk with the use of e-juices, especially for young adults. The analysis defined e-liquid use as any liquid which has caffeine, chocolates, lecithin, or flavors of tobacco, or that tout themselves as “iquid candy.” The report went on to say these products were a leading cause of unintentional deaths among middle-aged and older adults.
Many publications have written articles concerning the dangers of E-Liquids, and most of these address the dangers of E-Liquids directly to young adults who are frequently the ones that get caught up in the vaporizers craze. Because of these articles many teens and young adults no longer feel as if they need to hide their cigarettes as they once did. In fact, many of them would be surprised to learn that they can keep smoking while still enjoying a satisfying liquid as an e-liquid.
As the dangers of E-Liquids seem to be largely associated with teenagers it is important to note that they are also within some older adult smoking populations. One such example may be the nicotine patch, which has been heavily scrutinized due to reports of life threatening unwanted effects. The patch makes the nicotine deposit more challenging to locate and thus increases the quantity of nicotine ingested by your body. Some reports suggest that using the patch may increase the risks of developing a cancer. However, there’s little definitive information available concerning the health threats of E-Liquids.

Many have been considering the dangers of E-Cigs with a critical eye due to reports that state that they do not contain any nicotine. Since the vast majority of E-Cigarette users aren’t thinking about the proven fact that they’re still inhaling tar and nicotine they’re not really doing any harm to themselves.

These devices are becoming increasingly popular in public areas such as concert halls and coffee shops because of their capability to help smokers quit the habit minus the side effects of nicotine replacement.
